Arnias
As the title above, i purchased the Corsair Hydro Series™ H110 (https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Liquid-Cooling/Hydro-Series™-H110-280mm-Extreme-Performance-Liquid-CPU-Cooler/p/CW-9060014-WW), when i built my computer way back in 2013. Its been working perfectly for all these years. Now, I am planning on upgrading to an Alder Lake based system. I am wondering if i can still use the mounting hardware that came with the H110 that i already have, or if there is any mounting bracket that i can buy to make it compatible with the Alder lake processors. If not, can anyone suggest a new 280mm cooler that is compatible with Alder Lake? I don't want to throw away a perfectly good cooler though. Arnias
Addendum: Can the included brackets in the cooler also be used for AMD Ryzen 5000 series cpu's as well?
c-attack
LGA 1700 is a new, larger socket. There are adapters for more recent coolers but not older versions from that far back. Given the increase in surface size compared to CPUs from 8-10 years ago, you probably want a new model anyway to help with this. The old “round style” plates don’t test well.
