cdj77
Hi, I'm planning a new setup, which includes a new H100i Elite LCD, which comes with 2 ML120 RGB Elite fans, and a set of additional 4 of said fans. From what I know, the cooler comes with a Commander Core, that allows control up to 6 4-pin PWM fans. My question is - am I going to be able to control all of my 6 ML RGB ELITE fans via iCue just by using this one controller, without any additional hubs and without a need to connect any of those fans directly to motherboard? As far as I know, each fans has two connections - one for RGB control and second for PWM control, so it would be logical to connect RGB pins to RGB connectors, and PWM pins to "FANS" ports on the Commander Core. Can someone confirm that this will work? Thanks in advance.
DevBiker
Yes, that is correct. If you have six fans, the CoCore that comes with the Capellix cooler is all you'll need.

Another quick question: Is it possible to mix 2x ML120 RGB ELITE with 4x SP120 RGB ELITE fans on the same controller (Commander Core)? Both fans are 4-pin PWM, so I gues both would be controllable via iCue without any issues?
c-attack
The PWM part is fine and so is the RGB. The SP-Elite, ML-Elite, and ML-Elite OEM from the Elite AIO kit are all 8 center hub mounted LEDs and intended to be a color match. In CUE they are lumped into one group named ‘8 LED fan series’ and the program does not distinguish one from another. They were meant to be mixed together.
