GypsySmurf
You may be overheating...I get the same type error when I know my computer's getting really hot...I turn up my air conditioning and it goes away - this is with great cooling in my system, but when the room it's in tends to get warm it happens. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 23, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 23, 2005 Can you tell me the exact model# of your memory module; along with the CPU speed, and its FSB as well? In addition, please tell me if you have the latest BIOS installed on your system and the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 24, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 24, 2005 Please look at the module itself and on the module you should see a sticker with the model number, the model number should start with either VS or CM; please let me know this information so that I can answer your question properly, and give you some settings to try for your BIOS settings. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 31, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 31, 2005 If memtest86 found no problems or errors on the memory, then I will suggest you to look at other hardware/peripherals installed on your system. I do not think the problem is coming from the memory modules at all!

Ilya
Its also Saying Disable options like shadowing or caching in bios but i cant find such options.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 31, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 31, 2005 You can try and disable the Onboard cache, this should be under advanced BIOS features; the option is called either L1 or L2 cache, if disabling this option solves or fixes your problem then the problem of your system is coming either from the motherboard itself or the CPU.
