Limewire
So just finished my new build with this beautiful cooler. everything worked fine on first startup. i then Installed iCUE software and was able to change what was displayed on the LCD screen. but after a restart the screen stopped showing up in iCUE. It still lights up when I turn on the PC, but as soon as i open iCUE the screen only shows a red ”!” ive tried unistalling several times but nothing works. its wierd since I could change the display at first but then it just stopped working. thankfull for any help…. RiotZero
I don't have any solutions for you. I just wanted to state that I pretty much have had the same issue. I recently built my new PC (11/19/2021) and the first few days things worked great. I was able to change what was displayed on the LCD screen. Then, one day upon a restart, I got the Red ! like you described. Now, the screen will show an image of the Liquid Temp but its frozen. The image normally has swirling lines around the border that are now static and the temp is always 31. I can no longer see the options within iCUE to change anything about what the screen displays. Not sure if there was an update to iCUE in that time and thats what killed it but the screen is now currently useless unless I can find a solution to why its stuck with a frozen image. If you are using the USB splitter have you tried plugging it directly into the USB port on your motherboard instead of the splitter?
Marlboro_79
I have exactly the same issue as you. Over 2 weeks communicating with support and all i've been told to do is uninstall icue and reinstall. The issue is with how the driver. in device manager I get a usb issue with (device descriptor failed) I have tried win 11 and win 10, with the splitter and without, can confirm both usb headers are working fine. The screen works and shows liquid temp but has never shown in icue and i have no control of it. Fans and ring around lcd, pump and commander core all work perfectly. Using a msi z690 force with up to date bios and drivers. Was a long time happy corsair customer before the h150i elite lcd, (driver or firmware is screwed somewhere and support takes 3 days every time to answer a msg) not so happy now. Mechanical65
I have the exact same issue, it just happened to me yesterday after a restart and I am no longer able to control the LCD image, everything else works properly. You are not alone!
SKM1007
Potentially Solved: I think I may have fixed this error for my rig (we'll see how long this lasts so fingers crossed) I was experiencing the same issues with my LCD displaying a warning red ! on startup as listed on this thread. I checked with Corsair's help page online and as per their instructions I checked the Commander Core 20 Pin to make sure it was seated properly (it was already). I then disconnected the pump power from the USB splitter and plugged the Pump power cable directly onto one of my motherboard's unused USB 2.0 headers. I'm using an ASUS Tuf Gaming X570 plus Wifi motherboard so currently I have the AIO pump plugged into one of the USB headers and the original splitter that came with the H100 AIO plugged into the other USB header. From what I read on Corsair's help page the red ! symbol means that there is a general fault with the LCD and that can be related to power delivery. Could be that the splitter supplied in the box isnt able to manage the power delivery effectively on it's own. Definitely worth a shot if you can't seem to get it to work any other way. SKM1007
Also forgot to mention in previous post that I checked iCue and I can now customize my LCD display screen again and everything is showing up as normal before the red ! appeared.
