K68 keyboard : paint on keys peeling off

hi,

i have been using this keyboard for about 7 month
on the most used keys (one example displayed) the colour seems to be peeling off from the side already

this is my 1st mechanical keyboard,
is this normal?

That's why everyone talks so much about double-shot PBT keycaps, they don't come off like that. After 7 months I would think these might be exceptionally bad ABS caps, or you got exceptionally acidic sweat.. =p

That being said you can buy new and/or better caps and stick them on. Just make sure the form factor matches, some KBs use non-standard shapes on some keys.
