ST100 Killing Discord.

Recommended Posts

I went for a #2.. my headset shuts down after 10 minutes of inactivity.. I came back and I could hear everything except my friends on discord. I tried everything for hours until I unplugged my ST100 headphone stand.. Suddenly I could hear them again.. I plugged it back in to test and they were gone again.

Why is this a thing? This is how I charge my headphones...

Hey MoldyTaco, sorry you are experiencing these issues. So this happens to me to but sometimes with other devices/products. This can be due to your operating system itself and what it's allowing to take precedent over what program (which goes first basically) or what it may be recognizing as a "sound" device. You may have to go into your operating system settings and check the "devices" section and look into it more there. You can also look into other devices that have "privacy settings" as an option in more advanced settings. Some users have also reported it can be an issue with Discord itself how it's now seeing the ST100. Make sure to check your Discord settings in the "Voice & Video settings". You can also try running Discord as Administrator and see if that changes anything. When you plug anything into your computer - it just depends on how the computer takes precedent of which device it will take as the sound source.

Also just wondering if you are using iCUE at all for any of your devices/stand/headset etc. If you are - can you provide me the iCUE firmware version? Thanks again.
