Corsair sp2500

Hello all,

I know this might be a wrong forum for this post. But just want to ask for some help. Recently, my Corsair SP2500 speakers starts to act weirdly. When I try to play any sound from the computer, you have to turn up the volume dial all the way up. The volume control in Windows is 100%.

Here it is the weird part, if you plug in your headphones and listen through the headphones, all is well as normal. You don't need to turn up the volume to max.
And some times, if you turn the speaker off and on again, it will go back to normal volume and fade away. (Again, you can turn up the volume on the dial to max)

But the problem is, when you turn it up, the speaker will distort a little bit. And again, it is a little bit quieter than normal.

In summary.

Headphones: 100% normal.

Without headhones: As above.

I am 100% sure my system is all good, it is somewhere in the speaker system, there's a fault.

I hope someone can help me out here, please?

Thanks in advance.

Hey h24821807, it's been a while since I've seen anyone bring up those speakers! Because it's been a while, it's definitely not support but I still think you should send our support a ticket just in case and see what information you can gleam from them. It's nice to see how well taken care of the speakers are (especially since its a product pushing 10 years+) 🙂
