What kind of adapter do I need to connect the Dark Core Pro wireless USB dongle to the included USB-C mouse cable?

I want to keep the wireless dongle near the mouse, to minimize lag, instead of keeping the dongle under the desk, in the back of the computer, buried amongst a nest of sim controllers and TRS cables. What kind of adapter would I need? I'm having trouble finding a female USB C to female USB A adapter. Or will it help much any using an adapter and having the wireless dongle on the desk, near the mouse? I've had wireless mice in the past that have hiccuped and lagged when the mouse wasn't close to the wireless dongle.
