Susceptive
I have Corsair 4000x (4 including + 1 psu fan) with CX750F ARGB psu bundle. The controller that comes with the case does not have a 7th port and the motherboard connection cable is missing from the box. So I can't connect the controller to my MSI motherboard and I can't sync RGB colors. I want to sync colors without iCue software.
Corsair Employees Corsair Travis Posted November 24, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 24, 2021 Hey there, the larger cable on the bottom is your USB cable that will connect to an internal USB header of your motherboard.

RGB will be controlled through the Corsair iCUE software. Armory Crate won't be able to control them, sorry!

My problem is that the larger cable does not have a connector on the motherboard (MSI Z690-A). Do I need an adapter, and if so which one? thanks. Corsair Employees Corsair Fer Posted December 20, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 20, 2021 Your motherboard definitely does have internal USB 2.0 connectors, which are located at the bottom right and are labeled USB.
