jackharvest
This is an interesting one. These headphones work just fine for Zoom, Discord, Microsoft Apps, OBS Studio, etc. But when it comes to Microsoft Teams, it does not work. No matter what, despite it working EVERYWHERE in Windows, even on a fresh installation of Windows 11 (which I did JUST for this scenario test) this headset is simply not compatible. I don't even know where to start looking for how to correct it. This is Microsoft Teams for work. The standalone installed "Teams_windows_x64.exe", not the built-into-Windows11 teams (confusing). https://teams.microsoft.com/ interestingly enough works just fine. Obviously that's routing through the Google Chrome browser, but still. Proof of concept is everywhere, so something is definitely jacked with the desktop app of Microsoft Teams + this device. They hate each other. Thoughts?

They hate each other. Thoughts? Hey jackharvest! Oof! I think I just had this problem on my work laptop where it was working everywhere except Teams but this may be due to the updated privacy settings on Windows or some kind of other voice program interfering (like VoiceMod or another updated program etc). So disclaimer from me - not sure if its a Windows 11 thing but this happened to me and I'm on Windows 10. Besides checking/updating your microphone drivers - I went to the Microsoft website and followed these instructions (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/my-microphone-isn-t-working-in-teams-666d1123-9dd0-4a31-ad2e-a758b204f33a) Check your app permissions You might need to change one of your privacy settings. Here's how to check: Open Settings Under Privacy, select Microphone Make sure the setting for Microphone access for this device is turned On If the setting is already turned on, turn the setting off then back on again Close all apps and restart your device Basically I found out that I turned off the permission. I have OBS too so I'm sure that wasn't interfereing with it. I also made sure to check other programs including Java and that I'm sure I can rule that out. I hope this helps because I'm sure it's not anything external which means your Void headset. Let me know if this works out - if not then please don't hesitate to contact our support. Justka
I have similar issue with Corsair Virtuoso XT headset. Teams don't see the devices at all and I get notification that there is no speakers or mic. The audio devices shows "custom setup", but previously it was working smoothly. nachosanchezruiz
Hi There! I'm experiencing the same or pretty similar issue. I have a Vistuoso SE headset. I can do a call without issues after restart the computer. However, when I spend a few time working and try to make a call, I get the "device not configured" message. The weird part is that when I make the test call with the bot, it seems to work. However, in the real calls it doesn't work. It's pretty annoying to change the headset by another one when you receive a call and you don't have time to restart. I tried using the USB connection and wireless. I can't find a pattern to identify the problem. I have the latest divers and soft versions. I also reinstalled all of them. Any ideas?
atersolitas
I've got a Corsair Virtuoso SE headset and had the same issues. The only thing I could do to get it to work with Teams was to uninstall iCue. I had tried the latest version of both version 4 and version 3 and neither one worked, but when I uninstalled I was able to use it with Teams no problem. The only problems are that it doesn't automatically mute Teams when you mute physically on the mic (not a big deal) and you lose the ability to customize your headset and view battery status,
