Sorry if a little off topic, but is anyone else getting high temps when using animated Gifs? Normally I'll be idle at 45c, but when using an animated Gif it will often shoot up to 60c or more.

Wasn't sure if it was just me, or what the deal was. lol Is there a way to use hardware acceleration or anything to offset it? Thanks for any help.

Couldn't tell you - pre-ordered mine on October 28th, and it still hasn't shipped.  All I know is it should be ready in 3-4 weeks... which has already been showing for a few weeks, so who knows?

New CPU & mobo should be here by Wednesday, looks like I'll be stuck waiting on the AiO.  😞

That's interesting. I can't say that I've seen that ... but that machine runs Folding @ Home 24/7 ... so I'd have to pause that for a bit. Let me see. This might be an interesting experiment.

OK ... I paused the FaH and shut down some Acronis service that was eating CPU and let the system settle down. Pretty steady 2-5% CPU usage from random background processes (and iCUE Dashboard). So ... idle (enough) state.

Ran through both of the GIFs that I posted above, a couple of the built-in screens and then blanked the screen out. It was all really consistently the same. So I'd be curious what image you used as well as your hardware to see if we can figure out what's going on here.

Great idea to start a thread for this. I'll post mine once installed.

Am really sorry over here. What is the point of these animated gifs, if LCD upgrade kit never was for sale and am starting to believe this product only was available in close circle for promoters. 2 months passed and nothing on Corsair shop and this item is not even a GPU 😕

You just need to get lucky. I purchased my LCD upgrade kit two days ago, after having checked the Corsair product website almost daily for 2 months. It's already shipped but probably wont arrive before christmas. As for retailers, it seems to me that none of them have ever gotten stock for the kit so far, as none of them even have an out of stock product page.

Good luck!

Nope, not blocked. Removed copyrighted material from it.

You received a DMCA takedown notice? Seems phishy tbh.

All user submitted gifs have been removed. They must not have been original enough. Only the four original official Corsair submissions remain. I guess the mods didn't like our submissions because literally every single one has been removed.

Didn't mention DMCA. Please see the forum rules: https://forum.corsair.com/terms

We saw copyrighted material and removed them per our own rules.

Sounds good. I will be more cognizant in the future.
