squatch
Will CM72SD1024RLP-2700 memory work in an HP Proliant dl380 G3 series server? The memory that it currently has is pc2100. I know with standard workstations you can always install faster memory provided the voltages and cas are the same without ill effect to the system. Does the same hold true for servers? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 18, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 18, 2005 No, that is not true with any OEM system. I would suggest using a module that is suggested either by the MB maker or from our Memory Configurator.
