robfd
I have 2 sticks of 512mb Corsair XMS PC3200 TwinX LL. Part number CMX512-3200LL. I have a Gigabyte 8INXP + P4 2.4 currently. The ram ran fine in the above system at only 133FSB, but I just bought a Shuttle SB61G2 (i865PE), and when I switched it, it would not boot at DDR400 speeds, only much less, and even then they ran with much trouble. I put the sticks back into the original computer and ran memtest86 to get loads and loads of errors, tests 1-4 were clear, but after that the errors wouldnt stop comin. Let me know how to proceed! Thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 18, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 18, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 (+.2 Volts w/Giga-Byte) Volts as well. If you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However; if you get errors with both modules, that would suggest some other problem. And I would try testing the memory in another system to be sure.
