Ropera
Hello, I have 2 pairs of Twinx 3200C2 (2 mb total). One pair is v.1.2 and the other pair is v.3.1 When I put the 4 modules altogether the memory bus defaults to 266 mhz. When I put each pair on their own (v.1.2 or v.3.1) it reads 400 mhz OK Trying to set the parameters manually does not have any effect as it still reads 266 mhz when all 4 modules are placed together. Sandra reads the v.3.1 as a straight 400 mhz, but the v.1.2 reads 266-400 mhz. I know where I bought them (Directron.com) but have not found the receipt and they were purchased in two separate occasions at least 1 year ago. ASUS mobo P4P800VM, P4 3.4, no OC of any kind. QUESTION: Can you upgrade me the v.1.2 modules to 3.1? v.1.2 reads: XMS3202v1.2 - 0407002-4 TIA, Robert
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 18, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 18, 2005 Robert, No I am sorry we cannot order the modules by revision #. And with missmatched modules this is a common result. But you can try and set some of the settings manually to the following and then test the system with http://www.memtest.org to make sure it's stable. However, we only officially support one set of Twinx in any system. Please try these settings after you load setup defaults. AI Over Clock Tuner: Manual CPU Freq: 200 MHz Memory Frequency: 100%/DDR400 Dim Voltage to 2.75 Volts Resulting Frequency: 200MHz/400DDR Legacy USB: Disabled SDRAM CAS Latency: 2.5T SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 3T SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 7T/8T Then test the system with http://www.memtest.org.
