head_asplode
I am the proud owner of the ol' Hydo 200, and I could use a little advice. After over 1.5 years of faithful service, the motor seems to have signs of imminent failure. It has started producing pinging or rattling noises. My question is not one of diagnosis, but one of hardware. Is there any way to purchase a new pump? I plan on buying Corsair's new product, but I want to use that on my machine I'm putting together now. Thanks in advance for any advice, and my apologies if this question have been addressed prior to my arrival.

head_asplode
Thanks for the info Crunch. I assume by your advice that most pumps operate at similar flow rates? By any chance, do you happen to have any personal suggestions as to a decent replacement model?

head_asplode
Thanks Steve, I thought it was only a year warranty. Fantastic! I filled out the RMA for processing. Thanks for the help.!
JonKrmr
Just so you know guys, the pump used in the Hydrocool 200 and 200EX has a 3/4" inlet that matches the 3/4" outlet on the res. If you use a 3/8" inlet pump, you will need to find a reducer fitting to make it work.

Using the NEW DDC-1 pump from the COOL will require a new 3/8" fitting from the pump to the HX (rad) and a new 3/8" fitting from the reservoir to the pump. I've posted "HydroCool 200 merge with The COOL" http://www.houseofhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37691 In that thread, it talks about what is needed to do this job, along with the parts to order from where and their part numbers. The BOSCH pump is 3/4" and is used on M-B diesel engines. Peace! Stev
