Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 17, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 17, 2005 Please make sure that you have the latest bios and load optimized defaults and then set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and test the system with http://www.memtest.org and if you get errors please test the modules one at a time to make sure one is not failing. im pretty
OK, i followed your instrcutions, and ran memtest for 13 passes. No errors occured. So i tried CS:S. After about 15 minutes i was all happpy becasue i thought my ram had started behaving. But(as it has been doing) the game continuously freezes for a second or two, and comes back. Then, after about 20 minutes of playing, it gave me the error message again. I am really confused now. Thanks for the help so far.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 18, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 18, 2005 There seems to be a lot of users who are having trouble with this game, I would suggest you contact the maker of said game and ask them if there is any known issues that they are working on? But this seems to be a driver/service pack issue that they will need to address.
im pretty
i tried another game now, farcry. same error occured however. When playing CS:S with some older ram i have (its OCZ), it works without a hiccup, although slightly slower as its only 512 mb. And farcry works well with the OCZ too. Thanks for everything so far
