MP600 Heatsink Reassembly

I removed the heatsink a while back to accommodate the included M.2 motherboard heatsink but I now need to reassemble it. Removing the heatsink was pretty straight forward following the instructions on this page but reassembling it by doing the reverse seems impossible. Any help would be welcome.

with a new thermal pad i imagine you'd need to compress it quite a bit to get the thing to clip together.

Just make sure you use the same thickness pad. half a milimeter too thick and assembly is impossible.

i even wonder if they are not press mounted at the factory ^^'

I'm using the original pad.

If you are using the original pads it should be as simple as sliding the m.2 into the bottom part, and then pressing the top part down on top of the drive until the 4 clips click in place. Can you show some images of what your problem is?
