Sgt. Squarenuts
I have received an RMA for 1 of my memory modules that came as a matched pair. Is it ok to just add the 1 new module to the remaining 1 good module in my system? Should I return both modules, even though 1 tests out fine? How important is it to use matched mem pairs in a dual channel kit? I really would rather keep the good module to prevent down time. I will return both if need be. Can you give me a little guidance on this please? Thanks
Wired
E-mail them back stating that you have a TwinX pack and that you would like both RMA'd. When running more than one stick it is very important that they are matched to insure compatibility.
