justinmorefield Posted May 16, 2005 Share Posted May 16, 2005 hello everyone im so confused and mad i thought a new a decent amount about computers... i guess not .. my problem is .... i keep getting blue screens when i restart or boot up my computer .... the computer will just keep restarting and restarting ... but when i mess w/ the voltage it boots up ... like ill move it from 2.65 to 2.70 and then it will boot .. i just reformated my computer ... could it be a motherboard problem like i need drivers or is it a psu problem its a "turbolink" 420watt max .. my cpu specs are--- A64 3200+ MSI motherboard x800xl video card and ... memory wise corsiar dual 512 <-- my problem, there new they started this .... there model number is CMX512-3200c2pro my board says it can support ddr 400 pc3200 ... and is there a way to find out what drivers i need i lost my box for my mobo please im new help me i have a.i.m thank you everyone ---PLEASE HELP DONT SKIP---- Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Wired Posted May 16, 2005 Share Posted May 16, 2005 BREATHE. What exact motherboard do you have? Do you have a TwinX pack? Does it work fine @ 2.70 volts? If not, have you tried 2.75 volts? justinmorefield Posted May 16, 2005 Author Share Posted May 16, 2005 Hey i belive its the first one you mentioned.... oh btw it seems to be restarting and shutting down normal at 2.75 voltage but i should still get the updated drivers for my motherboard so if you could help me find them someone :roll: thats would be awesome... btw hl2 is still skipping could the mother board drivers and updated bois help?
