hforo
Ok, so I've had this ram for about a year and a half... it worked fine for a while and then started giving me trouble. I am just now getting around to (hopefully) having it replaced. If I leave the timings set to what they are supposed to be I get random crashes in windows applications all the time. If I turn the timings down I get a lot more stability but not rock solid. When running memtest86+ I get errors in test 3,4, and 5. My system config is as follows: Asus A7N8X-Deluxe Athlon XP 3000+ Barton (400 fsb) Corsair TWINX1024-3200LLPT 1GB RAM What should my next steps be? Thank you! Wired
What timings were you using? If different, try these: CAS Latency: 2 RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3 Row Precharge (tRP): 2 Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6 Memory Voltage: 2.75 volts
hforo
Those are the timings I was using, voltage was set to 2.6V, I only have options for 2.6, 2.7, 2.8 I will now rerun the tests at 2.7V and see how it goes. Thanks for the quick response :) EDIT: Still getting errors in 3,4,5 @ 2.7V What timings were you using?
