RTX 3080 RM750X Cable question (pigtail x2)

Dear, 

I have a RM750X and I'm swapping Gpu's to a RTX 3080 I have been looking in the PSU box and found a second Gen 4 pigtail 6+8 and another 8 pin hanging on to it.

Can I use 2 pigtail cables with the tails hanging loose? 6+2 (+8) and a 6+2 (+8) but the two other (+8) hanging loose? 

I hope you understand this cause I find it hard to explain.

It's totally fine to leave the pigtails disconnected when using those cables; you may wish to zip tie them out of the way.

We recommend using a separate power cable for each of the 8-pin power connectors on your 3080.
