Messed with icue now my LL120 fans arent lighting up :(

Recommended Posts

Recently I've been having troubles with one LL120 fan having a single light on when I turn off my rgb, so I have been trying to fix it by playing around with Icue v3.38.61 and in the process I have messed up the lighting for all my ll120 fans I think by playing around with the Lighting Node Core and I am not having any luck getting it turned back on (all the lighting worked fine before)

I'm not really sure what to do and I didn't build this pc myself I had it custom built so i'm not very tech smart 😞

pic included where all the rgb is on but the ll120 fan rgb wont work except the one small dot that's yellowish white.. 😭

You can use the “instant lighting” drop down menu to pick a static color for all CUE devices in the system. This a quick way to check RGB functionality without changing your profiles. These are temporary layers on top of the profile.

What you’re describing is typical of what happens when there is a bad LED or part of a fan. The RGB is a series circuit and the fans like one long strip. If an LED goes bad on fan #2, both it and the fans after go dark or exhibit other strange behavior. You’ll need to test each fan in the #1 RGB slot to find the problem fan, but I would start with the one that is partially lit. If it is in the # 1 slot now, put it last and use a different fan in #1. That may immediately move the problem to the last fan only and identify the bad one.

You’ll need to try each fan in the # 1 slot on the RGB hub. This is usually what happens when the first fan in the order has a problem.
