Allanxo
Hi, ICUE had a new update so I clicked the update button but its been hours now and its still stuck on (updating...) loading screen. What do I do? I'm worried that if I restart my computer the pump cooler might stop working and become bricked. I just got cooler this year in march. Is it fixable and can I restart my computer? Please let me know thanks.
c-attack
The firmware update file is tiny and the process should take less than 10 seconds from start to finish. If it didn’t complete, it won’t finish up now or later. You’ll have to end it one way or another. I would force quit CUE from the task bar before shutting down, but it should not matter either way. If for whatever reason the cooler locks up on the next restart, it can be managed. The fans will be frightful, so get them off the AIO fan controller and on the MB. The pump will run at maximum and otherwise the cooler works - just no RGB or fan control. Contact Corsair Support. TacoRaptor
For anyone having this issue in the future, I think I may have randomly discovered the fix. It's happened to me once before, and I had to contact support. Since it seemed like it would never end, I went to the settings and clicked the little 3 dot menu next to the H115i and clicked "Force Update". I figured since it would probably brick anyway, what's the harm? It worked just fine! The finished update showed up in my notifications, and I'm good to go. Hopefully this helps anyone that comes here looking for answers :)
DrAztecDuck
Didn't work for me. Mine just did an H170i Capellix firmware update. The fans revved to full power and stayed and it froze that way for 20 minutes. No buttons at all worked and it didn't had the exit option greyed on the taskbar. So I just uninstalled iCUE hopefully it will fix it on reinstall.
