Corsair Gaming Sabre RGB mouse - middle click issues

Recommended Posts

Hi,

The scroll wheel itself works fine but the middle-click (e.g. to open new tabs) is now virtually non-functional; the input does not even register. I've tested this across 2 different PCs and same issue. The feel of the click itself is fine and not spongy/slack. Been experiencing this intermittently over the past few months. The mouse is out of warranty (4 years old).

Is this a known issue? Could internal cleaning or pressured air into the cavity solve this? If so, any instructions?

Many thanks.

Hi RaffScallion,

It's definitely worth hitting that area with some compressed air to see if it's some kind of mechanical interference causing the issue. Like any moving component however, sometimes these can just wear out, and sometimes prematurely unfortunately. Please open a ticket for this at help.corsair.com and our support team will be able to help review for any potential warranty issues here.

Thank you.

Ok thanks - I've opened a ticket now.

Interestingly, after a soft reset - it's now working better on my laptop but still inconsistent on my desktop. Neither have the Corsair software installed
