erinkeenan
Howdy! I've got two TWINX CMX512-3200C2PT sticks. One of the chips seems fine, but the other causes random crashes & fails memtest86 with a bunch of errors. I've got an Athlon 64 3500 in an Asus A8V motherboard, not overclocked, all settings at defaults (though I did try playing around w/ various things, but nothing seemed to help). Does an RMA seem in order? Thanks, erin
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 16, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 16, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well. If you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
