Corsair H100i RGB Platinum SE Issue

Recommended Posts

Hello all, my name's Rully, I'm from Indonesia

please help me, I'm a newbie here, I've tried to fix this problem for a long time

So the problem is, my H100i RGB Platinum SE Cant cooling down the temperature of my CPU temperatures so my CPU has thermal throttling.

when I stress them, the temperature goes to 80 degrees Celcius (Radiator fans are revving up but not reach 100%) after that in 2 seconds it throttled to 50 degrees Celcius until I stop the stress test.

troubleshooting I've done :

for installation, I've followed the manual book

iCUE cooling profile is set to extreme

Re-Install iCUE software

Re-Install Windows

Repaste processor

System Specs :

CPU: Intel Core i7 10700

Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B460F Gaming

RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 8x2 GB 3200mhz run on 2999mhz

SSD: Corsair SSD MP510 NvME PCIe 240Gb

VGA: Asus ROG Strix RTX 2080 Super Advanced Edition

Case: Corsair iCUE 465x RGB with All LL Fans

Sorry for My Bad English

Thanks very much for helping me:)

What are your coolant temps?

80C isn't hot enough to cause throttling on the CPU.

And the fan speeds are, by default, tied to the coolant temps. So they won't ramp up instantly with CPU temperatures. This is appropriate and there is no need to change it.

80C is not enough to cause CPU throttling, but your MB might be reducing power by design or by settings. I would try a different CPU test. CPU-Z (bench tab) is a relatively mild CPU test with a fixed load, so it is useful for testing cooler functionality.
