rivethead28
Hi Guys, first time poster here.... I recently built a system and I installed 2 of your valueselect VS512MB533D2 chips on my MB...I had some sporatic issues over the last few weeks and I finally did the mem test program on the advice of the tech support guys over at DFI (system specs below)....I isolated my problem as being a particular stick of ram (1 was fine and the other is just plain bad) I tested the sticks one at a time and on with this particular stick, no booting, with the other works perfect...SO, this stick of RAM is bad..... however, I am unable to return to tigerdirect where I purchased this ram, due to not having the package and it is over a month since purchase. I would like to get an RMA number from you guys to exchange this piece of ram..... Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 13, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 13, 2005 We can try replacing the modules, but I would try and manually set the Dim Voltage to 1.9 Volts and test the suspect module again with http://www.memtest.org and if you still get errors then lets get it replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
