justinu
Hello, I have recently began getting spontaneous reboots at least once a day. This system previous ran without crashes for aproximatly one year. There have been no hardware/software changes since that time. I have 2x512MB and 2x256MB RAM. After taking out the 2x256MB sticks, I have been able to run stable for over 2 weeks without a single reboot. I'm convinced these two sticks are bad, and would like to have them replaced. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 12, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 12, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well if you have that option. If you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However; if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some other problem, and I would try testing the memory in another system to be sure.
