knives88
I currently have a Carbide AIR 540 and would like to replace it with a Crystal 680x. The case is installed under a closed desk on the top and left side, so I adopted a negative pressure configuration with excellent results: - Top: 2x140 Exhaust (AIO) - Front: 3x120 Exhaust - Rear: 1x140 Intake - Botton: None The Crystal 680x has tempered glass on the front and top, do you think it can create problems with the air flow? Corsair Employees Corsair HP Posted June 22, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 22, 2021 Hi Knives, Tempered glass will always be worse for airflow than a mesh style panel. That being said, the 680X has plenty of ventilated cutouts throughout the case, so if you are having a negative pressure setup you should be fine with this case as well. I can also recommend you to look at our 4000D airflow and 5000D airflow lineup which has received excellent reviews due to the well ventilated panels.
