MichielGTX
What the title says lightning layers wont change say going from rainbow to static its still on rainbow. the only way lightning layer work is to delete all layers again [rainbow] and use only one layer like [static] if i make a second layer or a second copy with a different color it will never change to it i have to remove all layers again to make a new layer then i get my color i want again this is extremely frustrating. Using latest version of icue also did a clean instal aswell doesnt matter its still broken.
c-attack
You may need to show us a screen shot of the lighting effects panel. Don’t forget it’s a top down hierarchy, so the higher placed effect on the list will cover the lower layer if applied to the same LEDs. This is just on the Platinum pump? Or fans too? MichielGTX
Both the two fans and pump, also if i set them to light blue my led on the pump will flicker like crazy then eventually it becomes dull green, but the two fans on rad they will stay @ light blue. Red color wont flicker btw thats strange. Edited June 13, 2021 by MichielGTX
c-attack
So with that static red, the pump and fans are still doing multiple other colors? It seems like some type of firmware problem, but there also appears to be an uptick in traffic about the Platinum series misbehaving on colors lately. I would contact Corsair Support and see what they have to say. I have not seen any specific resolution for this. One possible thing to try is a forced firmware update. This is simple enough in the Platinum device settings panel, however a firmware update is never 0% risk. More concerning is some Platinum/XT users are reporting firmware update issues and the result is fans stuck and max and no detection or control. That would be a worse position than you are currently in. I would wait until you have some direct instructions from Corsair.
