PC Master
Hi all, I recently bought the Corsair HX1200 80+ Platinum PSU, and I'm thinking of taking it on an airplane with me soon. I contacted the airline and they said it should be fine to take in as carry-on luggage, provided there's no battery inside that could explode or cause issues. I'm not that familiar with how the PSU is structured internally to be honest, is there a battery inside? Or is its only purpose to transfer power from the wall socket to the PC, without any battery in between? Thanks!

Vegan
On a PC, the only battery is the real time clock which is a small button type. These batteries are quite safe as motherboards are shipped with them globally.
