suvi2k
Hello, I am struggling try to resolve a double clicking issue which starting happening a few weeks ago to my Corsair mouse. The model is: Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro SE, Wireless FPS/MOBA Gaming Mouse with Slipstream Technology, Black, Backlit RGB LED, 18000 DPI, Optical, Qi Wireless Charging Certified and it was purchased less than 1 year ago. Really like this mouse apart from this issue. What occurs is my pc is registering a single click as a double click more than 50% of the time I use it. I have tried updating to the latest version of iCue and updating the firmware of the mouse as well but the issue persists. Here are the details of the versions below: iCue (4.11.274) Mouse (5.0.84) Dark core pro se dongle (5.0.84) I have also tried doing a hard reset (holding down l+r mouse buttons while off and then powering on) but it also doesn't seem to solve the problem. Sometimes I get no issues temporarily but it eventually comes back shortly after. I've submitted a help ticket to Corsair customer service as well but haven't heard back. Hoping someone from the support forums can help here while I continue to search thread here and reddit. Thank you.

suvi2k
Good question. I logged in with my account and used the chat dialogue which loads up to both trouble shoot and request support. However, it looks like they did not provide any ticket number for the same and mentions that I would be contacted via email with a ticket number. I am not sure how long that will take but will have to update this thread once I hear back..
suvi2k
Been a week and still no response with a ticket number yet. I had to unplug the mouse and revert to an older model corsair mouse which does not have this issue at all as daily use has become so bad. Very disappointed because I really liked the mouse feel a lot more.
mattnicholas
I am sorry you have to face this as well. I had this thing a couple of months back and Corsair support wasn't quite supportive at all. I searched on forums, Reddit and whatnot and eventually found the trick that fixed it for me. Below are the steps to reset your mouse. 1. Unplug the mouse first. 2. Now hold down both left and right mouse buttons simultaneously. 3. Plug the mouse back into the port while keeping both the mouse buttons pressed. 4. Wait for 5-8 seconds and then release the buttons. 5. If the reset worked, you will see the LED flash once. 6. Check you mouse for clicks using the click test. If the counter increases, you're good to go! Give it try! I am hopeful it works for you as well. Also, keep following up on the corsair and ask for a replacement instead of troubleshooting; you'll get a faster response. (speaking from my experience) Edited June 28, 2021 by mattnicholas
suvi2k
Unfortunately I tried all those trouble shooting steps and nothing resolved the problem. Corsair responded and created a ticket and I was able to RMA the old mouse. They sent a replacement while mine was in transit back to them. So far I have no issues with double clicking with the new one. Thank goodness, I really liked this mouse!

(speaking from my experience) I've been having this issue for 2-3 days now too on my Scimitar Pro RGB mouse. I've tried your steps and -- so far -- it seems to have solved the problem.
