Why remove support for H100i v2 from icue, this is a cooling system for one of the most important parts of the PC. My cooler was functioning just fine and now that I need to find a new one I will be switching to another brand, and I will not be buying any more of your products since you are likely just going to stop supporting them anyway so what's the point. Good ridance...:mad::mad:

Why do you need to find a new cooler? If you are happy with the existing cooler, just keep using iCUE 3.

Just because the cooler isn't supported in the new software moving forward doesn't mean that it'll stop working.

Oh - and if this is what will cause you to flip vendors, I do wish you luck. Because vendors end support for older products all the time. Whomever you go to next will, at some point, do the exact same thing. So are you planning on vendor hopping from now until eternity because they drop support for older items that you still have? While I understand your frustration, that's just a reality in the tech world. If you can't handle it, then perhaps you should stay away from tech completely. Just sayin'.

Because it prevents you using new corsair products?

He has to get a new cooler, or he cant buy anything new from corsair, or use any of their new software.

I've never seen a company, ANY company, release a software update that removes hardware - they've always released DIFFERENT software, letting you run old and new on the same system if needed

Well I cant control fan curves under the new software now can I? Is that called working to you?

If you call hardware that was purchased from a store a year ago old then that is pretty poor customer service on corsairs part, I literally saw this cooler at my local Best Buy last week, if this hardware is old and no longer supported corsair should be pulling it from shelves. this was not a cheap cooler and yes it could run on icue 3 but with the way icue3 runs which 50% of the time and is requiring service restarts then how long before it dies all together because it is not being serviced anymore.. I would prefer to use the new software with its updates thank you very much, especially after the amount I have paid for it.

All I am asking its that my gaming hardware be supported, and if that means switching to another vendor then that's my choice to make and is corsairs loss because more will eventually follow.

There is literally no reason to not support this hardware or provide any control to the fans that are plugged into it that are still currently supported by ICUE 4, so maybe you don't understand my frustration and Yes other vendors do discontinue old hardware, many years past when they pull it from shelves. not a year, so if its so hard to include drivers that have never been updated in the first place for a new piece of software then maybe its corsair that should step away from the tech world and make way for the companies who will value the customers that support them with many full system builds like I have done.....

All I can say is this is going to look great when this is snipped and shared with the public, this response from a Corsair representative is sad and is not going to look the greatest, but thanks for your response none the less.

Also you prove to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that this move to remove this hardware from ICUE 4 had nothing to do with corsair just forcing people into buying newer hardware from them and that it was actually due to the fact that it was impossible to incorporate this "Old" hardware it into ICUE 4 and Ill go out and buy an entirely new Corsair Setup. Corsairs Devs department must be in a sad state if they cannot program a driver that works with ICUE 4 that controls a pump and 2 fans and some sensors that are already supported by ICUE4 lol what a joke.

Then Maybe corsair shouldn't be pushing ICUE 4 updates to ICUE 3..... smh

I mean ... I'm not really sure, after seeing that, how you could think that anything I say is a statement from Corsair.
