Mooncatt
Hi guys just built a new rig with a corsair 4000x rgb case along with the above cooler. Pretty sure I've hooked the cooler up properly as the pump and fans are working. The icue software also sees the cooler and I can change the colour etc. However it doesn't light up at all. Anyone any ideas what Ive done wrong.
LeDoyen
sometimes it comes from your SATA cable. Not all have all the voltages connected. some have 4, some 5 wires. If the 5V is missing, the LEDs won't get power.
c-attack
Usually the first check on this is with the power supply and any Molex to SATA adapters, similar to what is being asked in this the thread below. There are some PSUs that do not provide all three voltage rails on that cable. https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=206076 You don’t need to add to that and can respond here. Presumably the pump does not light up at boot or when you close CUE (or ever). If it does, then we are looking for a different root cause.
