HERMAN59000
ICUE needs 1,96 GB of disk space for installation, it's enormous  In memory consumption, we are at 300 MB. However, I only have 2 peripherals. Corsair Strafe RGB keyboard and Corsair ST100 RGB Headset Stand. In the installation folders, I only need 2 files which total 4,5MB. \Program Files\Corsair\CORSAIR iCUE 4 Software\modules\ st100_rgb.dll strafe_rgb.dll It's just unacceptable. The iCUE software is not a modular software and installs all necessary files for our products. As for the memory usage being 300MB, it is only 0.23% of your 128GB of system memory. Even if you only had 16GB of system memory it would only work out to 1.875% of total system memory. The memory usage is far from being excessive where things like most web browsers will utilize well over 1GB of system memory when you only have only a few tabs open.
LeDoyen
The iCUE software is not a modular software . maybe it should be in the future? 2gb storage and 300mb in ram (he didn't count the services and their CPU usage) for just a keyboard may be a tad excessive? comparing a driver to a user application makes little sense. The fact that Autocad takes me 7gb of ram, or FS2020 taking 20gb doesn't make it aceptable for iCue to take 4 times more than all other drivers combined. I am afraid, until user experience becomes a thing at Corsair, this kind of complaints and requests will keep coming as they have been for the whole life of iCUE 3 already
