Vertical GPU mounting

Hi, in these cases is possible the vertical GPU mounting ?

 

- Case Mid-Tower Obsidian Series 500D RGB SE Premium

 

- Smart case Crystal Series ATX 680X RGB

 

 

Corsair produces a flat Ultra PCIe 4.0 X16 cable ?

 

Seems not, or I am wrong ?

Both of those cases can have the GPU vertically mounted yes. We do not currently have any PCIe 4.0 extender cables, sorry. So if you use our flat 3.0 PCIe extender cable, you might have to set PCIe slot to 3.0 manually in bios if you are using a 4.0 GPU.

yes it is PCIE4. You can see it on Nvidia's specs for the 3070.

That said, as of today, using PCIE3 has virtually no impact on performance (in fact, the Ampere presentation by Nvidia was done on an Intel platform, PCIE3).
