iCUE 4 crashing

Hello,

 

Just updated from iCUE 3 to iCUE 4 and it crashes on startup. Tried doing clean install (removing every traces of corsair from regedit, programdata, appdata and localappdata), issue is still the same. If I revert to a clean install of iCUE 3, I have no issues.

My system also has 3x Commander PRO and 1x Lighting Node, if this information is useful in any way.

 

So I configured debug logs on iCUE 3, updated again to iCUE 4 and noticed the below in service trace and error logs.

Just to update on the issue/solution here for anybody else possibly running into it which was provided by Corsair Support:

 

The crash was due to an older version of Asus Aura service which was causing iCUE 4 to crash when trying to load the motherboard. With Aura service uninstalled, it was no longer crashing but was not showing motherboard and gpu as v3 was doing. Installing Asus Armoury Crate which includes it's latest Aura service fixed that as well and now v4 is showing the motherboard as well as the gpu with no crashes.
