Quanee
Hi, I've recently purchased HS60 HAPTIC and so far I'm loving the mic/audio quality in games, however, I have one very annoying issue. I don't know if this is intended behavior, but whenever I take my headset off and place it on the table, just to close window or turn on the lights in my room and then put the headset back on, it's turned off. There is no audio, nobody can hear me, it takes from 5 up to like 15 seconds for everything to come back. If I have voice prompts enabled, it tells me that "Mic's on" after that period of time. Is there any way to disable that kind of behavior? I have latest version of iCUE installed, but I cannot seem to find any option related to this issue. Thank you in advance. Corsair Employees Corsair Albert Posted May 11, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 11, 2021 Hi Quanee, What firmware version is your HS60 HAPTIC on? Has this issue always occurred or did it just recently begin?
Quanee
Hi Quanee, What firmware version is your HS60 HAPTIC on? Has this issue always occurred or did it just recently begin? Hi Albert, thank you for your reply. I have my headset for about a month now and I feel like the issue has been there since then. As for firmware - how can I check the version? I've tried following some official Corsair help videos but my iCUE won't let me check or change anything but Voice Prompts under Device Settings. As for drivers, it's v2.3.28.
Corsair Employees Corsair Albert Posted May 14, 2021 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 14, 2021 I suggest downloading iCUE 4 and making sure you're on the latest version (if you're not already). You can download the latest version of iCUE 4 here. In iCUE 4, you can check firmware version by clicking on the HS60 HAPTIC and going to Device Settings. A window should pop up showing the current firmware version, along with the option to check for update.

NobleInTheMorn
Good evening, I am having the same issue above. When I take off this HS60 Haptic headset it shuts off as soon as I pick them back up. To make matters worse, randomly the headset will shut off while I'm wearing them. I've gone through the above comments: I am running iCue software 4.20.169 In the Device Settings, there is not option to "check for update" When going directly through the iCue settings > Updates, the headset doesn't show up at all What can I do to stop this from happening? Simfar64
I would also like to add to this as it is frustrating. The following I have tried and no effect I have latest iCue Changed USB power plans to everything give me all the power I disabled iCue and still fails Multiple different USB slots Is this a hardware issue that is not being addressed? If it is a case of a PCB track not being thick enough or cable gauge not good enough, can you provide instructions to fix or provide further assistance with this? Unfortunately all of the threads I have found on this issue fall silent even after Corsair input

I asked this to the support but haven't received an answer yet, I think that such a swift approval of a RMA means that this is a hardware issue (or some sort of mixed hardware/firmware issue) out of the factory/at their end. coachflip
I just got my HS60 Haptic a month ago and having the same issues. Running iCue 4 latest version and the headset auto shuts off when I take it off and won't turn back on. I have to unplug it and plug it back in or do a reboot to get it back online. This is ridiculous Corsair, fix it!
