K95 Platinum on Laptop with devicelock

Hello Forum,

 

I have a question regarding my K95: I want to use it on a laptop which is protected by devicelock software. Unfortunately my keyboard is blocked. I've tried different keyboards, and for instance the logitech g15 work (and some other non gaming keyboards too).

So my question: can I use the K95 in some special mode, where no other features are avalable than the pure keyboard function (no lights, no programmable things etc.)?

Is there some adapter which anonymizes the keyboard and switch functions off?

Hi jbecher,

 

Switching the keyboard to BIOS mode actually might help out here. To enable BIOS mode (and disable it):

 

0. Unplug keyboard

1. Hold B + S keys

2. Plug-in USB power

3. Release keys
