Support For Nvidia 12 Pin Connection

When will Corsair develop a PSU that will support Nvidia's new 12 pin connector without the use of an adapter. If so what what PSUs will be upgraded? If I have to use an adapter I wish the adapter would join close to the PSU and not at the GPU connection!

Also when will PSUs AX____i be back on the market?

Thanks

it's already out and has been for awhile, not long after the FE cards came out :

plugs straight to the PSU, no adapters needed, works on PSUs using type 3 and type 4 cables, that is 99% of the lineup.

As for the AX1600i i believe they were qualifying a replacement iC, for a chip they can't source anymore because of the current shortages. if i remember well it was supposed to be ready sometime in May.

Ok that link looks like another cable, figured by now there would be a port for NVIDIA GPUs. No worries, just figured at the price point of AX1600i they would accommodate that.

May so I "assume" it will be out sooner rather than later!

the AX1600i uses type 3 or type 4 cables, so it works.

too few people need that cable for them to bundle it in i imagine. at least that cable gets rid of the clutter of using an adapter
