TWINX1024-3200C2PRO freezing during post

Recommended Posts

Specs:

MB ASUS P4P800-E DELUXE 865PE

CPU P4/2.8EGHz 800M 478P/1MB HT

DDRAM 1GB TWINX 1024-3200C2PRO

DVD+/-RW PLEXTOR|PX-708A/SW-BL

CD-ROM 52X ASUS

WESTERN DIGITAL 250GB

ATI 9800 Pro

ANTEC 400W POWERSUPPLY

I replaced the Motherboard, Hard drive, Video card, and CPU. To get the system started I would have to take one memory stick out and boot it up. Then shut it down and add the second one back in. Then the system would come up sometimes. I don't over clock anything. I haven't done a memory test yet.

Tell me what you think.

Thanks

You really should be using a 450 Watt PSU minimum with that hardware config, but I have no problem replacing your modules if you want to try that.

Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!

RAM GUY,

Thanks for very quick response. I'll order another power supply today. If that doesn't work then I'll have it replaced.

Thanks for your help.
