Help with iCue lighting when program is closed

Hey guys, so I used to be able to close iCue, lock my computer, or turn it off and "wake" up my devices by moving the mouse or something of that matter, and it would display whatever lighting profile I assigned to it. But now, when I close the app or lock my computer, all iCue devices go to the rainbow colors rather than the lighting profile I have selected. Any ideas on how I can keep them on the profile I chose?

You enter “hardware mode” (a non-profile state) when you lock the PC and sever the connection to CUE. The lighting for each capable device can be set in the hardware lighting tab. There are some devices that do not have onboard storage and cannot store a lighting assignment.
