CarylXGame Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 Hello, I just bought and had delivered : The Virtuoso RGB headset and the ST100 RGB stand. Of course, before buying I read that you had the software for MacOS X. Today I play thanks to Geforce NoW on Mac and it's great.... But what a pity to see that the Softaware issue does not work on Apple M1 I have only 3 questions before reselling these wonderful items: 1 - When do you plan to release the M1 due Software? 2 - Is it planned that the software will also handle the ST100 RGB? 3 - In the meantime, do you have a technique (through the terminal) to disable the RGB lights of the ST100? Thanks again and congratulations for your wonderful products

CarylXGame Posted April 23, 2021 Author Posted April 23, 2021 The iCUE 4 software indeed works without issues on M1 Macs and I use it on the M1 Mac Mini every day. Thank you for this information and I am very happy for you. I did a clean install of my MacBook Pro M1 and then installed iCUE. It tells me that there is an error during the installation even though the software is installed properly. I launch the software and it does not find any device. I uninstall it (with the Uninstall option) and there a new error: No receipt for 'com.corsair.cue.3' found at '/'. I reinstall it and there the software installs correctly and asks for a reboot. I restart it and it does not find any Devices (as a reminder, Virtuoso headset + ST 100) An alert appears at the bottom indicating that it is necessary to authorize CORSAIR system extension. What I did. Then again a restart. In the privacy System event and Finder are well checked Unfortunately the alert still appears and no device is recognized. In short.... I really think that your software is far from being perfect for the MacbookPro M1. If you have a solution I would like to read it. See you soon
Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted April 23, 2021 Corsair Employee Posted April 23, 2021 What exact version of iCUE are you installing? What exactly are you plugging the devices into in order to connect them to your Macbook Pro since they do not have any USB Type-A ports?
CarylXGame Posted April 24, 2021 Author Posted April 24, 2021 I used the latest version of iCUE: 3.38.61 My devices : The Headset VIRTOSO RGB SSE The ST 100 RGB stand In the system options of the Mac (for the most gifted, I accessed the system options to reach security rules and add the authorization for unidentified developers). Then I uninstalled and reinstalled iCUE..... but nothing: I still have the alert at the bottom of the locale that tells me that the extension could not be installed and the devices are not recognized. I had the opportunity to install the logitech pro x and no problem. I think your software needs to be redone to work perfectly with the ARM architecture. I happen to know a little bit about development and it is not normal to encounter these problems. The installation explanations are not given and there is no alert on the M1 before purchase. I opened a ticket to the support yesterday...... we'll see. It's a pity, the products are very nice.
CarylXGame Posted April 24, 2021 Author Posted April 24, 2021 After several hours of research: Version 4.10 for Mac OS Big Sur on Apple M1 works perfectly! My problems came mainly from my USB hubs C....be careful. The application is top, the effects super and the Bass booster a killer! Bravo Corsair, I stay !
flalvare Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Hello: Could please point me where the ICue for Mac 4.1 is available for download? I tried the Corsair page for Mac, but the version available is 3.8.XXX. Then tried ICue 4 page from corsair, but when I tried to download, it is a .MSI file (which I believe is for Windows). Vodder Posted May 2, 2021 Posted May 2, 2021 You've probably sorted it by now but if not, I can confirm ST100 works in iCue 4.10 on macOS 11.3 - LT100 sadly not...
