KingPing
I bought the Xpert kit from ZZF... http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=80097-80 I set it at 2.8v (reports 2.77) and its showing "thousands" of errors in Memtest86 before it even completes 5% of the test when set @ 2-2-2-5 200mhz....best I can get is 2-3-3-6(no errors).....the label on the ram says its the 2-2-2-5 stuff so I assume ZZF sent the right modules. Does it classify as "bad" or "defective" if it wont run at advertised speeds/timings?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance KingPing
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 9, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 9, 2005 Please set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and if possible I would test the modules in another system to be sure, as I remember there was a voltage issue with this model that may require you to modify the MB to run these modules. KingPing
how do i go about getting them to work together??? or should I try to return them??
Wired
If they work singly, then it's most likely a bad slot or a bad memory controller on the motherboard.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 10, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 10, 2005 You might talk to ABIT and make sure there is not some issue with this MB running 2.8 Volts.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 10, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 10, 2005 I would try and reset the bios and then test them together at 2.8 Volts.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 10, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 10, 2005 If that still does not solve the problem we can try replacing the modules, but I would encourage you to try tesing them in another system if you can. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!
