zombkhils
purchased a combo from motherboards.com about a year ago, amd64 3200, k8v se deluxe mobo, twin xms 4000 512 memory ran perfectly until about 2 weeks ago when i installed a belkin wireless network adapter. the system would now freeze up completely, but the odd part is, it did it over a huge period of a time. Maybe 4hrs or even 12hrs could pass by and not a single error, then all of a sudden, freeze. I updated my bios, video drivers(BFG 6800GT). I even took back the belkin card and swapped it for a linksys. I ran all the windows updates, i updated my chipset. You name it i checked it. I then ran WinDiag after googling the problems I had been having. After the first few test finished it said I had about 170,000 errors on my memory, and that it could not isolate the module because there were so many. Basically requesting a RMA unless someone can suggest any other solutions. Thanks
Wired
Test with http://www.memtest.org. Windows memory testers are notoriously unreliable for the simple reason that they depend on Windows, and Windows is using part of the memory, and as such that part can't be tested. It could very well be throwing errors when it is attempting to test protected memory.

Wired
Try System Restore. If it all started after a driver install, most likely there's a small part of it corrupted within the system.
zombkhils
well i've restored a few weeks before I installed my wireless card. Guess I'll see how things go from here. Just seems odd that every test on Memtest was successful, but then Windiag fails on very single test it runs. I understand what you mean't on how windiag relies on windows to run, its just weird that I go through the exact same process of making a bootable cd for both, and running their own custom interface. If I continue to freeze up i'll get back to ya, thanks for all your help.
