jrcoon
Downloaded the recent version 3.38.61 of ICUE and now I have audio issues in the way of popping sounds. I diagnosed that it was caused by ICUE as the popping sound was heard in my HS70, my earbuds, and on he laptop speakers. I performed multiple steps in my diagnosis to include reverting my windows to a previous version. Then I updated programs one at a time until I got to ICUE. I uninstalled ICUE and the sounds fixed itself. Installed ICUE again, both versions 3 and 4, and the popping sounds returned. I have gone through all troubleshooting steps and the only thing that corrects it is uninstalling ICUE. Update is what caused my popping sound issues. Suggestions please or a link to downgrade to a previous version? ***I tried to install firmware again for my HS70 and plugged in my headset via usb. It then it installed Avnera 6301 and 6302*** Still having popping sound issues. It was specifically ICUE and nothing else. When i wasnt aware what was causing it, i went through multiple steps, checking my memory with memtest 84, updating bios, checking window sound properties, switching hz sound qualitys, changing headsets etc. I finally had enough and just wiped my pc. It solved the problem obviously as icue was then uninstalled. I recently installed it again to update my corsair watercooler and able to control rpm of the fans. I was hoping they may have fixed this issue and it seems they have not, even with the new updates they seem to have put out. Feel free to check my specs and see if we have anything in common, I really wanna sort this problem out otherwise im going to have to send the corsair cooler back after a year as i cant use it how its intended. It's ashame really. I'll be sending an email to support too and see if this is a known issue but not on priority to fix? Please do reply. I hope to see a message.
