Easy question for those in the know

My son has the Corsair commander pro and wants some lighting strips to go in his tower for his birthday. I don’t want to ask him which to buy as he doesn’t know I’m going to get them as he ended up getting something else which was supposed to be instead of his lights.

I’ve looked and have no idea which lights are compatible. I’m in the uk could someone either tell me what I need to look for to be compatible or post some links to actual lights. He’d preferably like ones you can change colour of.

Thank you in advance of your help.

Non techy mum 😂

I posted another thread but put it in the wrong section, so apologies if you see this twice but don’t know how to delete post.

Corsair LED strips are 3 pin connectors unlike the fans which are 4 pin. You simply have to plug in one Corsair RGB LED strip directly into a free lighting Channel on your Commander Pro (#2 in your case) and then connect the next strip to the first strip and so on. You can daisy-chain up to 6 Strips together per channel this way (or up to 5 strips and a Dominator Airflow Platinum RGB Fan at the end of the chain). https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/iCUE-CONTROLLERS/CORSAIR-RGB-LED-Lighting-PRO-Expansion-Kit/p/CL-8930002#tab-tech-specs

Here is a link to the kit you would need from our UK Webstore. You could also look for the CL-8930002 part number at retailers such as Scan in the UK to see if they happen to have stock.
