MEANT TO PUT RM850X

Got a new ASUS motherboard and it won't start, not even light up. I bought a tester and it shows there is nothing detected from the 5VSB. Is this normal? Or do I need to replace the PSU? Thanks.

+5VSB should ALWAYS be on whenever the PSU is plugged in and switched on.

Unless there's a short.

When you tested it with the tester, was the PSU plugged into anything else?

Yes only using the stock cables. With only the ATX plugged in the tester the 5VSB is the same, and now the 12V2 also gets L.L. Oh and yes the PSU is brand new.

I opened a ticket with Corsair support, will probably end up doing an RMA.
