pinkfluffyguy
Hey guys, I am in the process for picking parts to build a new PC. I was leaning towards the iCUE H150i 360 mm liquid cooler for my cpu and the Corsair LL120 120mm 3 fan pack for other cooling. The 3-pack fans come with a Corsair Lightning Node Pro and an RGB lighting hub. I want to be able to control the fan speed and rgb of all "six" fans (three in the radiator for AIO cooler and three individual fans). Do I need Commander Pro in order to do this? And what is the role of iCUE in this situation? Thanks.
DevBiker
That depends on exactly which of the H150 coolers you are getting. If it's the new Elite Capellix cooler, then you'll be set - that comes with a Commander Core that will let you control the fan speed of the fans. If you aren't getting the Capellix cooler then yes, you'd need a CoPro.
Vegan
I have the H115i which has 2 fan headers for the cooler fans. My commander handles the chassis fans.
