bracki
New user to the Mac world. Can you guys advise whether standard Corsair memory (Value Series, PC3200, 2 sticks, etc.) would work in a Power Mac or whether it's required to purchase the memory that is specfici for Apple. My local Fry's has a sale this week on 2 x 512 chips. My guess is that its the value series. The specs on the website seem to suggest it would work fine with the Power Mac. If you could provide any help on whether this would or would not work, along with any watchouts for Mac specific Ram, that would be great. Thanks. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 6, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 6, 2005 If you replace the memory that came in your system it may work verry well. But I would not suggest mixing memory that came with your system and our Value Select. You might also go to our Memory Configurator and look up your system for the correct modules to use.
